Ahmed Hameed & Bood

Bahrain-born DJs & producers Ahmed and Bood, key figures behind some of the region’s most respected independent electronic music platforms.

Ahmed is the co-founder and resident DJ of Soundscapes; a decade-long festival and community spanning music, wellness, art and culture with international editions in Zanzibar and Noctuary, a curated party series launched in 2018 in Dubai and since hosted across Saudi Arabia, Berlin, Lisbon and Sri Lanka. His approach is rooted in precise curation and high-fidelity sound, working closely with artists and engineers to build intentional listening experiences. Most recently, he co-founded Phono Sound System in the UAE, developed in collaboration with 8Miles Sound.

Bood is a producer & DJ from Bahrain, based in Dubai, and a co-founder of Soundscapes Zanzibar Festival. He is also a co-founder of Phono Sound System, a high-fidelity custom sound system built in the UAE with sound-system builder Uncle Ronnie and 8Miles Sound, extending his focus on sound, community and music culture across the region.
